It is amazing when you see a child so talented and with such a great gift, but do you feel sorry for them as I do? It breaks my heart because I know how they will be missing out on their childhood by sacrificing their lives just to entertain the rest of us. They will have fame and fortune, yes, but they will also be exploited and used by others. It’s sad, but it’s the way it has always been. Very few child stars grow up to have happy, normal lives, MJ included. I can only think of one who’s parents made sure that she wasn’t exploited as a child and that is Shirley Temple.
