I don’t get the appeal of Prince Poppycock. He can sing and he can create these characters but I still don’t understand. What am I missing?
I can understand why Jackie Evancho, Michael Grimm and Fighting Gravity won. But I knew Poppycock would win. I just don’t know why? Does he appeal to you?

NO! I hate him, though behind all the make up I’m sure he is a kind man but I don’t get why he got past auditions!!!!!!!!!!
He’s unique there’s no contestant like him or will there ever be one. He’s entertaining to watch while also being talented. His remarks the judges are witty and funny and he’s flamboyant yet humble. We can’t relate to Prince Poppycock but we can relate to John Quale and his feelings of being and outsider most his life and understand his struggles as a starving artist.

Anyway, yes – Poppycock appeals greatly to me. I love the whole duel aspect of him – I love the fact that we have John Quale who seems to be a very shy, genuine, humble and lovely person, and then Poppycock who is so quirky, crazy and fabulously creative. Not to mention he is an incredibly skilled vocalist. For me – I like how he always, always puts on a show. He rarely ever just stands there and sing like the other vocalists in the contest do. It’s alot easier just to stand there – but he puts alot of effort and thought into what he does and it shows.
But I don’t know, I’ve always liked people who are not afraid to be different. I like people who are willing to be campy and take risks. They are always far, far more entertaining. Which is why Poppycock is my personal favourite to win this thing.
